Peach butter

This recipe for peach butter is easily made in a crock pot, slow cooker, or Instant Pot.

Step1

Put all ingredients in the crock pot. Cook for 2 1/2 hours on low with lid on. Then prop open the lid (use a wooden spoon laid across the edge) and cook for another 2-3 hours or until the fruit mixture is soft.

Step2

Use an immersion blender or process the mixture in a blender until smooth and thick. Ladle into jars and refrigerate.

    The recipe doesn’t say but I’m assuming you peel and pit the peaches before they go in the crockpot

      I would peel and pit them first, but I’m trying canned peaches first.

      You would definitely need to peel and pit the peaches. Cut off any hard pieces and color around the pit also. This is often bitter.

    How do you prepare the peaches? With peeling on? Peeled? Very vague “recipe”. Also, there are no directions for Instant Pot.

      You can dip fresh peaches In boiling water for a minute the peeling will slip off (you can do tomatoes the same way) cut up peaches. Put in crockpot and cook
