DONUT DOUGH INGREDIENTS:

DONUT GLAZE INGREDIENTS:

Chocolate Glaze:

Directions

Step1

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar, salt and vanilla essence, then add 4 tbs melted butter then mix add milk in portion and knead the dough well

Step2

Keep the dough for 2-3 hours in a warm place

Step3

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll out to about ½” thick. then take any glass to cut out the donuts and use a small cap or round cookie cutter to cut out the donut holes.

Step4

then fry all donuts on low medium flame heat until both sides get golden brown. You can also bake at 180° for 12-15 minutes or according to your oven settings

Step5

Remove the donuts from the hot oil and rest them on a wire rack placed over a baking sheet to drain excess oil or simply place them on some paper towels to absorb the excess oil.

Step6

To make the donut glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla extract and water in a small mixing bowl until smooth.

Step7

To make the chocolate glaze, whisk together 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate or chocolate chips, 3 tablespoons heavy cream, 2 tablespoons (30g) unsalted butter in a small mixing bowl until smooth.

Step8

Dip the tops of the donuts into the glaze and transfer back to the wire rack to cool and allow the glaze to harden. Top with sprinkles if desired.

Step9

Enjoy!!!
